Why Masih

Masih is the Arabic word for Messiah. In modern Arabic, it is used as one of the many titles of Isa, who is known to Christians as Jesus Christ. Masih is most often used by Arab Christians as well as Muslims, and is written as Yasu' al-Masih or Isa al-Masih.

Masih was given to us because it not only means Messiah, but also will always remind us of our first international trip for the Lord in Pakistan and of how similar it is to our last name.

Many Arabic Christians take Masih as their last name in honor of our God. This can be also a great sacrifice as this also labels them as Christian and are persecuted because of it. Please pray for our brothers and sisters.
